Professor Asghar T. Minai was born in Iran. He received his master of Architecture in Urbon design
on scholarship from the M.I.T(Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in 1965, recieved his PhD
in Architecture from the university of Pennsylvania in 1969.
He has thought at several universities, as chairman of department of urban & regional planning
at Tehran university in Iran from 1971-72, he was principle partner in Research & Planning Corporation
from 1970-79 in Tehran, he was vice-president for academic affairs at Farabi university in Tehran .
he has been teaching at School of Architecture & Planning at Howard university in Washington D.C.
since 1981.
